The owners of Charger Exchange have opened a process to transfer the project — or bring in a partner — to a company or investor able to scale it. The platform is built, published and running.
What Charger Exchange is
Charger Exchange is a peer-to-peer EV charging platform. It connects owners of private chargers — homes, residential buildings, hotels and businesses — with drivers who need to charge: the owner lists the charge point and sets the price, and the driver finds it, books it, charges and pays from the app.
The model expands the charging network using infrastructure that is already installed, with no civil works required, and reaches areas where public charging is scarce or non-existent.
What the deal includes
- Full web platform — public site, charge point listing and management, bookings and payments.
- Mobile apps — iOS and Android applications, published and operational.
- OCPP charging backend — own server in production with remote control of chargers (session start and stop, telemetry).
- Brand, domain and social media — Charger Exchange, chargerexchange.com and the YouTube, Facebook and Instagram profiles (currently dormant, ready to be reactivated).
- Registered users and charge points already on the platform.
- Legal and operational framework — terms and conditions, privacy policy, dispute resolution, cancellations and refunds.
- Source code and technical documentation, with a handover period during the transition.
Possible structures
Full acquisition
Complete transfer of the project, digital assets, technology and brand.
Equity investment
Majority or minority stake, with the current owners keeping a defined role.
Operating partner
Alliance with a company in mobility, energy or charge point hosting to scale the network.
